Under 16s play local opposition

Our under 16 team took on local opposition in the form of Gunthrope Harriers under 15 tonight at Nene Park Academy. Thanks to them for assisting the team in getting practice in match situations. The final score was 7-5 to Posh Deaf but it could have easily been a Gunthrope win. Gunthorpe had a goal disallowed and opened up a 5-1 lead before stepping off the gas.

Phil Creasey of Peterborough Northern Star was drafted in as one of the hearing ringers scored 5 of the goals for Posh. William Palmer and Michael Delaney got the others.

Thanks again to Gunthorpe for coming to help Peterborough United’s deaf football under 16 team develop.
